Trippy Taco
Trippy Taco is a Mexican Cantina (I just wanted to use the word cantina) on Smith St. It is all vegetarian and almost all items have the option of being made vegan. We got burritos. The one in the picture above is a Tofu Asada Burrito, and the one in the picture below is mine, a Black Bean Burrito.
The food is messy, as Mexican food tends to be. The burritos have beans (or tofu), onion, tomato, soy cheese and greenery. Some of the other delicious menu items include tacos, nachos and (my favourite) the vegan chocolate banana melt. Trippy have other nice touches, such as delicious Mexican and South American beverages and a variety of hot sauces. They also offer a breakfast burrito, which I am yet to sample.

trippy taco is also a frequent provider of late night scarfables at festivals like earthcore and golden plains. good for early morning hangover breakfasts too...
I have been to trippy taco many, many times and have never been disappointed. It's such a cute little place. The food is awesome (i like the tacos and nachos the best) and the people who run it are lovely and helpful.
have you tried las vegan just up the road? mainly open for lunches tuesday to friday. amazing burgers, rice balls, salads, the tofu tempeh salad is awesome!
